Whitehaven’s single vineyard range celebrates the profound influence of terroir, showcasing exceptional, small parcels of fruit meticulously selected by their winemakers. Sourced from the Tussocks Vineyard in the Inland Awatere Valley, this exclusive wine reflects its rarity, with each bottle individually numbered. Packaged in a lightweight bottle to minimise environmental impact, it pours a bright, elegant rose-gold hue, a stunning result of 24 hours of juice skin contact. The bouquet presents freshly cut stonefruit, such as nectarine and apricot, interwoven with delicate overlapping notes of rose petal, white florals, and baking spice. On the palate, a juicy core of ripe nectarine, pear, and baking spices is lifted by a gentle twist of orange zest. Dry to taste and full-bodied, it concludes with fine, peppery tannins that linger beautifully.
